Local students named to the Dean's List at three more universities

Several students from Rockton and Roscoe at Bradley UniversityOlivet Nazarene University, and Coastal Carolina University have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List at these schools, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Local Dean's List recipients have also been announced by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

The two students at Olivet Nazarene University, Colin Elsbree and Aren Gustafson, are both from Rockton. Olivet is an accredited Christian, liberal arts university offering more than 140 areas of undergraduate and graduate study, including the Doctor of Education in ethical leadership. Its main campus is in Bourbonnais, Illinois, 45 miles south of Chicago.



Six students on the Dean's List at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, are from Roscoe, and one is from Rockton. Bradley is a top-ranked, private university with nearly 6,000 students.

  • Kendra Geddeis of Roscoe (61073), majoring in Nursing
  • Jacob Harvey of Roscoe (61073), majoring in Communication Television Arts
  • Brooke Dagefoerde of Roscoe (61073), majoring in User Experience Design
  • Kiki Fisher of Roscoe (61073), majoring in Biomedical Science Pre-Med
  • Kathryn Kroos of Roscoe (61073), majoring in Nursing

Jessica Green of Rockton, majoring in Biochemistry, was another one of the 1,900 students named to Bradley's Dean's List.

Farther south, Reilly Guth, a Marine Science major from Roscoe, was one of nearly 2,500 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University who were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester. Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, SC, near the resort area of Myrtle Beach.

Dean's List honors for Fall 2021 have not been released yet by Northern Illinois University, Beloit College, Rockford University, or Rock Valley College.
