A delicious Brunch with Santa

The brunch was held at The Twisted Tulip on Saturday morning, Dec. 18. The Twisted Tulip is a special event location at 7901 Burden Rd, Machesney Park.

Santa greeted guests as they came through the doors at The Twisted Tulip, a unique and elegant event venue at 7901 Burden Rd. in Machesney Park, on Saturday morning, Dec. 18.

The sumptuous meal was hosted and prepared by Erin and Matt Bedows, owners of Perfectly Seasoned Catering, 5344 Williams Dr. in Roscoe.

One of the families enjoying the food and beverages was the Jiricek family. It was a reunion of sorts. The couple were married two years ago. Their reception was catered by Perfectly Seasoned. It was the first wedding reception the Bedows had catered. The couple, originally from the Czech Republic, said the food was just as wonderful this time around.

The Bedows are working overtime this holiday season, catering corporate events, Christmas parties, weddings, bridal showers, and meals for busy families.

Perfectly Seasoned Catering has continued “Worry-Free Wednesday.” The special-order day was begun last year as a result of COVID restrictions. Customers are still able to pick up a comfort-food meal and desert at the Williams Drive location on Wednesdays.

The Jirick family had a special reason to attend Brunch with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 18. In Oct. 2019, Erin and Matt Bedows of Perfectly Seasoned Catering provided food for the couple's wedding reception. The couple said the food at Brunch with Santa was just as good as it was at their reception.
