Thursday, July 29, was a perfect day to play a round of golf. Over 100 Stateline Chamber members and friends took advantage of the nice weather and the opportunity to socialize at the annual Golf Play Day, held at Macktown Golf Course, 2221 Freeport Rd, Rockton.
Games and activities were part of the day’s fun. Each of the 18 holes was sponsored by chamber businesses.
Following breakfast and registration, golfing got underway with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
A Hawaiian theme, including a pig roast for lunch and a “Best Hawaiian Shirt” contest, were part of the day’s fun. Winner of the contest, dressed in bright pink shirts, was a team representing Wintrust Commercial Banking.
The fund-raising event was sponsored by NorthPointe Wellness.
