Strong spirits: questions

We ought not be afraid of questions.

Do you ever turn to the Bible for answers to the questions you have?  You should!  I encourage you to do just that.  AND, I encourage you to turn to the Bible to look for the questions that it asks.  There are a lot of them, and most are of the life shaping, transformational type.

For example, here are a few:  "What does it profit a person if they gain the whole world, and yet lose their own soul?"  (Jesus, in Matthew 16:26)

"If God is for us. who can be against us?  (Paul, in Romans 8:31)

"What must I do to receive eternal life?" (a lawyer, in Luke 10:25)

See what I mean?  These questions should cause us to pause, to consider, to think about our own lives.  I believe we all have questions like these that we wrestle with.  It is important to know our questions, be honest with ourselves and God about them, and ask God for his help in securing answers.

We ought not be afraid of questions.  I believe God loves us to honestly ask them, and loves to help us find the answers.  Ask your questions!
