2024 Senior Night for the Hononegah Indians brings Boylan Catholic to Kelsey Field
Senior night for Hononegah is Friday night against Boylan. As if the Indians playing for their outgoing seniors isn’t important enough, playing one of their biggest rivalries in the NIC-10 is important as they look to win the 2024 NIC-10 title. Both teams come into the battle at 5-1, sitting just one game behind conference leader Belvidere North at 6-0.
Boylan Catholic has really started to click on offense the last couple of weeks, having outscored Belvidere and Auburn 98-29 over their two-game win streak. Led by a strong running game and an improving passing game, the Titans can threaten defenses and open things up for themselves. On defense, they have been able to cause turnovers and cash in for TDs.
Hononegah has a game plan and used it to roll everyone in the NIC-10: great running game, dominant defense, and great special teams. The passing game will need to improve if the Indians want to go deep into the postseason.
The numbers to keep an eye on for the Boylan Catholic Titans:
- #10 QB Dominic Cacciatore 5’10 160 lbs
- #16 WR/TE/OLB Matthew Dolan 5’10 150 lbs
- #4 Caiden Gates RB/CB 5’11” 185 lbs
Keep your eye on the full Hononegah Indians 2024 roster.
