August 24, 2024:
Christopher Kaminsky, 48, Rockton
He helped to start Areas Best Towing, He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and grilling burgers.
August 26, 2024:
Margie Long, 85, South Beloit
She lived at the Johnston Garden Apartments.
August 30, 2024:
Vivian Bodick, 89, Rockton
From Minnesota, her care made it possible for her brother and his wife, both with Down Syndrome, to work full time and live in their own home.
September 1, 2024:
Ruth Meiborg, 63, Roscoe
She became the manager of the Whiffletree, where she worked for 28 years, and was responsible for the homestyle food at the Lions tent at the Fall Festival.
Matthew Miller, 39, Roscoe
He loved riding his bike, surrounded by nature on the open road, and spending time with his nephew and niece.
September 3, 2024:
Carol Gilbertson, 93, South Beloit
After finishing 8th grade in Shopiere, she earned her GED. She enjoyed the Meisner polka bands and playing euchre.
