Aug. 18, 2024:
Rose Hinrichs, 87, Roscoe
A 1955 Hononegah graduate, Rose worked many years for Dr. Ellis, the Wagon Wheel Resort and Fair Oaks Nursing Home.
Aug. 22, 2024:
Sam Pitner, 70, Roscoe
A great friend, he lived on Chestnut Street for decades.
Sept. 2, 2024:
Carol Trotter, 76, Roscoe
For more than 25 years (1987 - 2012), she provided services for the local farming community through Boone County Farm Service Agency in Belvidere.
Sept. 4, 2024:
Curtis Ackerson, 78, Roscoe
An owner of Ackerson Garage Doors, he was also an artist.
Sept. 7, 2024:
Richard Pann, 82, Roscoe
Remembered for his laugh, twinkling blue eyes and love of visiting with friends, he found joy in sharing his mechanic and woodworking skills.
Preston Chamberlin, 80, Roscoe
From Roscoe, he had a farm in Durand and a stocked pond. He was a a great traveler.
Sept. 8, 2024:
Londa Terry, 73, Rockton
She loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Alan Hubb, 63, South Beloit
He enjoyed motor sports at Blackhawk Farms Raceway and Sugar River Raceway. He proudly filmed SOBO football games for numerous years.
Barbara VanHauen, 96, Roscoe
A longtime resident of the Seward/Pecatonica area, she retired from Bergners in 1990. She loved working in her yard, going to garage sales and thrift stores, raising her fur babies, and being a grandma
Sept. 10, 2024:
Bharatkumar Bhatt, 81, South Beloit
A mechanical engineer at Ecolab, he was known for splurging on gifts and spoiling his loved ones.
Sept. 12, 2024:
Daniel Lee, 70, South Beloit
Co-owner of a maintenance service, he refereed basketball for more than 30 years. When younger, he was the lead singer in a rock band.
