With sadness, we announce the following deaths for Roscoe, Rockton, and South Beloit in recent weeks:

July 9, 2024:
Kenneth Bergstedt, 80, Roscoe
Before eventually retiring to Texas, he was associate pastor of Hope Church in Roscoe, where services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024.

August 2, 2024:
Tom Maavich, 77, Roscoe
He lived in Jamaica for some time.

August 8, 2024:
Chase Kennedy, 41, Rockton
A Hononegah grad, he was vice-president of the family business, making screw machine products.

Barbara Hoey, 74, Roscoe
Her family and friends will deeply miss her daily commentary and coaching tips from her recliner to the players on the TV.

Connie Priebe, 76, Roscoe
Celebration of Connie’s life will be at the Roscoe VFW on Wednesday afternoon, September 21, 2024. 

August 10, 2024:
Gerald Tresemer, 54, Roscoe 
A successful salesman, he enjoyed sports, music, movies, and spending time with his boys.
