Rockton River Market in Settlers Park, 150 Hawick Street, is a popular Wednesday destination throughout the summer months in Rockton, Illinois.

Hundreds of families stop by the park to listen to live performances from popular area bands, have dinner at a variety of food trucks on site, or sip a cold drink or ice cream treat. The market runs from 5 - 8 p.m. Music starts at 6 p.m.

Visitors can wander along the walkway through the park where small businesses sell tee shirts, jewelry, sweet treats, jewelry, and more.

River Market season opened May 22, 2024, with the music of Lindsay Marie, followed by Harpo’s Review - May 29, Minimal- June 5, Nauti-Nauti- June 19, That Gurl -June 26; Lola Blu - July 3, Bill and Jim’s Most Excellent Acoustic Adventure- July 10, Dirty Fishnet Stockings- July 17, Vintage Vinyl- July 24, and Jon Bon Stamos Band- July 31.

Meanwhile, there are still five more opportunities to have a good time at the Rockton River Market this season. Cover Story will take the stage, August 7, followed by Shuffle This- August 14, Hanks Neighbors- August 21, Distilled -August 28, and, closing out the season the Rockton Police Association’s Blues & BBQ- September 5.

The Jon Bon Stamos band had the crowd rockin' and rollin' at the July 31 Rockton River Market.
Kayla Gall helped customers and answered questions at the Simply Sweet kiosk during the July 31 River Market. Her friend Anna Pipitone is the owner of the confection business. Anna will also be opening a restaurant in Rockton in early September.
