2024 Sectional Roscoe Rockton Girls Bowling Teams

The 2024 IESA Sectional in Carpentersville on Saturday included the Roscoe/Rockton bowling programs. After the results were in, the Rockton Stephen Mack Boys placed second behind boys sectional champion Loves Park Harlem.

The girls bowlers from Rockton Stephen Mack also qualified for the state tournament Apr. 19-20 in Joliet IL, after finishing fifth at the IESA sectional on Saturday from Carpentersville.

In basketball, the 25th Annual Rising Stars All-Star Classic took place at Rock Valley College on Saturday evening, Apr. 13, 2024. Hononegah and the rest of the NIC 10 girls took down the area all-stars 66-61. Right after the girls finished, the boys of the NIC 10 hit the court and also beat the area all-star boys 121-97. Red Barn Golf Course is offering some summer golf lessons and a league for the junior golfers in your life, June 10- July 10.

  • Lessons for the Little Rippers (5-7 years old) -Saturdays/Sundays
  • Junior Lessons (8-14 years old) - Tuesdays thru Thursdays
  • Junior League (8-14 years old) - Thursdays

Earlier this month, Hononegah senior Estin Fichter signed his letter of intent to attend and play football at UW-Platteville. Fichter played running back and linebacker on the 2023 NIC 10 championship Indians football team.


The 3rd Annual HFB Gridiron Golf Classic is Saturday June 22, 2024 at the Macktown Golf Course. Registration fees include 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, a golf swag bag and raffles/prizes. $100 per golfer. Golf Classic starts at 11 am. The HFB Gridiron is a parent-run, not-for-profit club dedicated to providing charitable support to the Hononegah Community High School football program.
