MembersAlliance Credit Union opens Roscoe branch

MembersAlliance Credit Union has opened its new Roscoe branch at 5110 Rockrose Ct. Roscoe, IL, directly north of the Roscoe Beef-A-Roo. The first day of business was Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The credit union is near the corner of 251 and Hononegah Road.

Now that this new location is open, MembersAlliance has closed their branch located inside the Walmart on Rockton Road, effective Thursday, January 11.  The credit union will continue to maintain the ATM inside Walmart through the end of their lease in March 2024.

The Roscoe branch has a staff of nine, compared to five that worked at the Walmart location.

The opening of the Roscoe branch is the culmination of efforts by a team of employees, stakeholders, and community partners to make this a reality. The community is invited to stop by and see the new location anytime during regular business hours. A grand opening/ribbon cutting event is planned later in 2024.

MembersAlliance Credit Union was originally founded as Sundstrand Credit Union in 1938, with the purpose of forming a cooperative-based saving and borrowing alternative. SwedishAmerican Federal Credit Union merged with MembersAlliance in November 2023.

Now open to open to anyone living or working in Winnebago, Boone, or Ogle counties, MembersAlliance continues to function as a purpose driven organization, with a full array of consumer banking services, including checking and savings accounts, CDs, consumer loans (auto, mortgage, credit card, and debt consolidation), all available in person or online.
