Singer/songwriter Kristin Toon will be performing live at Best of Beloit, which is in South Beloit.
Kristin Toon from South Beloit has been singing since a very young age but taught herself how to play guitar at 17. Her influences include Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless, Martina Mcbride, U2 and more. She has been performing solo acoustic shows since last year and would have started sooner; however, she battled stagefright. [more details]

We might even bust out the photo booth and props.The Stevee Nix is one of the hottest area bands, rocking clubs and festival stages since 2004. Nature At The Confluence
10:00am-11:00am. In this beginner friendly class, yoga instructor Amelia Morris will explore joint rotation and a classic Hatha flow. With an emphasis on pairing the breath to the asana practice, we will gain a better understanding of how to work through all the kinks and tensions and create an easy flow within. Enjoy the focus on yogic foundations and readying your body for the days ahead. Class takes place outdoors when the temperature is above 65 degrees, otherwise indoors. [more details]

Nature At The Confluence
10-11:30 a.m. Use your senses to investigate what local animals do in the winter, explore on a guided hike, and enjoy a special snack. This program is best suited for children ages 4-6 and their caretakers, siblings are also welcome. Cost is $7/child per session.
