Main Street Mini Social: the perfect intimate social venue is right here in Rockton

Courtney Johnson and her business partner AnnDee Nimmer recently opened an unusual business in Rockton: Main Street Mini Social at 301 E. Main Street, Unit 2.

They have created a business venture that offers a small, unique meeting space that is perfect for small occasions such as showers, reunions, pop-up stores, birthday parties, game nights and classes for up to 45 guests.

Amenities include tables, chairs, a party wall, cleaning supplies, a prep kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, sink and bathrooms. Food and refreshments can be catered or brought in.

Bookings can be made for any day or time, any day of the week. Rentals during the week are $40 per hour plus taxes and fees. Weekend rental is $50 per hour plus taxes and fees, with a four- hour minimum. Exceptions can be made within two weeks of the desired rental date.

Courtney manages the 800 square feet room and books parties and events. She is also a professional photographer – Cork & Clove Photography.

Courtney is a Winnebago High School graduate. AnnDee graduated from Hononegah High School. AnnDee now lives in Arizona. While living in the Rockton area, she taught first grade at Rockton Grade School. In 2013, she founded Room TAGZ, a business that creates and sells room and hallway signage for classrooms, libraries, etc.

AnnDee and Courtney are partners in both RoomTAGZ and Main Street Mini Social.

Blue Heeler

Blue Heeler Bash is coming on November 11, 2023 from 9 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The children’s event will include story time, snacks, fun and games. The party is expected to be a big hit with the little ones. Registration is required.
