Strong spirits: take a risk!

Have you ever done anything daring? Something important that took you way out of your comfort zone?

A guy named Nicodemus did something daring once. He was one of the rulers of the Jewish community. Most of the other rulers were hostile towards Jesus. But Nicodemus was intrigued. Curious. So much so, that under cover of darkness. he went to Jesus to find out for himself who he was.

He met more than he had expected. He met a young man who challenged him, questioned him, and undid him. Read the account in John 3:1-15.

Jesus has that effect on people. Nicodemus came full of information and religion. Jesus told him, what you need is a relationship. What you need is encounter What you need is me.

Maybe the most daring thing you could do is go to Jesus with your questions... and an open mind.
