Burn becomes field fire near Roscoe

Harlem-Roscoe firefighters found an out-of-control burn had turned into a field fire Friday afternoon, near the intersection of Atwood Rd. and Burr Oak Rd. They stopped it before it could reach the tree line. Units arrived around 5:30 p.m. April 7, 2023, according to Battalion Chief Jeff Grant, who reminds everyone to "be very careful when burning this spring." Chief Patrick Trollop was also on the scene.
