Willowbrook Middle School
New Parent Meeting. In existence for over 40 years, the Bruce Samlan Soccer League (BSSL) has always focused on the kids and fostering/improving their enjoyment of the game. A recreational league, the Bruce Samlan Soccer League is about teaching the game in a small-sided format which allows players to learn by doing, make mistakes and enjoy the game. BSSL offers soccer for all children ages 4-15 and everyone plays. [more details]
Settlers Park
Downtown Rockton businesses and the Village of Rockton are teaming up to bring you a delightfully fun, simple Easter egg hunt at Settlers Park. Participants should gather at the flag pole promptly by 10 a.m. All kids will start behind the starting barricades for the different age groups (little ones get a head start). Kids will be limited to a specific number of eggs so each one has a chance. The Easter bunny will be available to take pictures with kids. [more details]
Cross & Crown Lutheran Church
10 a.m. - noon or 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Cost: $3.00 per egg
(You may purchase more than one if you wish). A limited number of tickets will be for sale at the door. You will receive a number when you arrive, and then you need to search the church grounds for that numbered egg to receive your basket of goodies.
Special gold and silver eggs will also be hidden for extra prizes. [more details]

Easter (Pascha, Pascua, Wielkanoc, Velykden, or Resurrection Sunday) commemorates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Churches celebrate with sunrise services, midnight vigils, and Easter lilies. It's also a traditional time for Easter parades, Easter baskets, Easter bonnets, the Easter Bunny and egg hunting. The Roscoe Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Leland Park. The Egg Hunt is for children ages 0-9. [more details]
Macktown Living History
2 - 4 p.m.
$5.00 admission. Learn about the predecessor of archery: the atlatl (spear-thrower).
Come learn how the early natives of this area used their environment and the natural resources for their day-to-day needs of food, clothing and shelter.
See and handle the tools they used and learn how they were made.
Chop wood with a stone ax. Try your hand at bringing down dinner with a spear and atlatl.
Kids can help grind corn and take some home to make into corn cakes. [more details]
