Can a furry rodent really prognosticate the coming of spring? Probably not. But we can know with confidence that anything God promises will happen. Maybe not exactly when we want it, but in God's perfect timing and way. Every time.
And what has God promised? The Bible is FULL of his promises. Here are a few of my favorites:
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Joshua 1:5)"I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20)
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
"There is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1)"Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God." (Romans 8:39)
The list goes on and on. All wonderful, and all perfectly reliable. Nothing about spring, but with promises like these, I can easily hold on... way past six weeks if needed...
