Kerry Group, whose North American headquarters are in Beloit, is currently interviewing for their college graduate program and summer internships. The public food company aims to nourish life and food by providing eco-friendly and sustainable food and nutrition.

College seniors or recent college graduates would be interested in exploring Kerry’s graduate program if they are looking to pursue a full-time professional role while simultaneously developing leadership qualities.

“Most Kerry graduates enter into the grad program directly from college or university as their first exposure to a full-time professional role,” Abby Otto, a sustainability specialist who just entered the graduate program in 2022, said. “In most cases, grads are offered a position that ensures they'll be with Kerry for at least two years. Individuals hired into the graduate program will rotate roles, providing the chance to learn multiple sides of their area of expertise and gain extensive experience with the company.”

The graduate program includes opportunities for robust, meaningful work, professional development, cohort learning and access to an expansive network of professionals that fits the needs of many graduates.

"I like that it is a thoughtful process, with consideration for helping new employees learn and grow with the company," Otto said. "The connections to peers in a similar life stage, opportunities to learn from and access leaders, and two years of job security are three things that I think make the graduate program great! It's very uncommon that someone right out of college has access to sit and learn from people at the Director, VP, and even CEO levels. Additionally, as a graduate, you are surrounded by other graduates across all departments of the business who are also transitioning from school into professional life, and you can learn from and lean on one another."

The graduate program gives those who entered the program the opportunity to learn directly from the leaders within the company.

"One unique experience I’ve had as a graduate was the opportunity to attend regular lunch and learn sessions with different executive-level leaders from the company, where we learned about their roles and responsibilities, how they got to where they are in their careers, and the role of their teams."

Additionally, there will be summer internships available for college sophomores and juniors. According to PR and Trade Media Manager Aisling Hussey, both the graduate program and summer internships will have opportunities in many areas including, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment, Engineering, Procurement, Research & Development, Regulatory, Applied Health & Nutrition, Information & Communication Technology, Project Management and Continuous Improvement.

“I love working at Kerry because I feel as though it’s a company that cares about the greater good, and by working at a global company with their main focus on sustainability, I’m able to make the largest positive impact on people and the planet,” Otto said.
