The University of Dubuque Spartans baseball team is getting Hononegah Indians star baseball player Ryan Hamilton. Hamilton signed his national letter of intent with the Spartans last week to play baseball. He was a part of the Hononegah Indians team that finished 22-4 overall winning the NIC 10 conference with a 17-1 record. The Indians averaged over 10 runs per game and allowed under 2 runs per game last season.

Ryan was named a special-mention All-Conference catcher last spring.

The University of Dubuque is a Division 3 college that plays in the American Rivers Conference. Last season, Dubuque finished the season 18-24 overall. Dubuque's most recently posted baseball roster has three senior catchers.

Photos and information for the story were provided by University of Dubuque, Hononegah assistant athletic director Andrew Walters, and Prep Baseball Report.
