Catherine Burdick was a librarian at the Roscoe Library

Catherine Benedetto Burdick, 69, a long time Roscoe resident, was a librarian at the Roscoe Library where she loved to read. She was also employed by West Connections.

She died at 7:57 p.m. on November 2, 2022. 

Catherine was born March 19, 1953 in Rockford IL, daughter of Pasquale Benedetto and Theloa C. Benedetto Frang, which are both deceased. She married Randall Scott Burdick on January 27, 1973.

She was a loving mother and is survived by her husband, Randy, and her children, Jessica Anne Burdick and Katrina Kaye Burdick (Robert) Noakes; loving adoptive mother to Jenna Danica Waugh and Aiden Bell Burdick; two grandchildren; and brother, Louis C. Benedetto.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 12 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a memorial visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
