Linda Christeson's life centered around her family

Linda Ann Christeson, 62, of Roscoe, loved to decorate her home for the holidays, both inside and outside. She also had a frog collection. She enjoyed cooking and her life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda passed away on October 9, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10, 1960, in Elgin, IL, the daughter of Lester and Sally (Bingham) Christeson. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1978. 

Linda is survived by her husband Bryan Austin, children James (Alicia) Austin, Linnea (Josh) Lundy, Shane Weerda, and Brandon Austin; grandchildren Julian Austin, Dominick Lundy, Drake Austin, Owen Lundy, and Freya Weerda; one great-grandchild on the way; her siblings Mark (Cheri) Christeson, Dawn (Lonnie) Glover, and John (Jenny) Christeson; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends. She is predeceased by her parents and granddaughter Scarlet Lundy.

A celebration of life was held Friday afternoon, October 14, 2022, at Rocky’s Bar and Grill in Loves Park. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date. Stateline Cremation is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
