New week, new challenge for the Indians on the gridiron

Each week the NIC 10 presents a new challenge for the undefeated Hononegah Indians.

Last week saw Hononegah play "Rock’em Sock’em" with Guilford, in a 31-16 Indians win at Kelsey Field. This week has the challenge of playing against a Freeport Pretzels team that has weapons from sideline to sideline. If you attend the game Friday night (at the new starting time of 6:15 p.m., moved from the previous 7 p.m. kickoff), then you’re going to want to look for Freeport's No. 2 Denarius Jackson, No. 7 Dedric Macon, or No. 24 Ryan Coon. Reviewing the season highlights so far seems to focus on those three Freeport athletes and trying to get them into space as much as possible.
