The Roscoe Lions Club hosted the annual Fall Festival in Leland Park on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10. Heavy rain cancelled the parade, carnival, and entertainment scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 11. But Saturday was a sunny day for the Kiddie Parade around the park. Dozens of children, many in costumes, walked in the parade, led by Leo the Lions Club Lion.

The business tent featured lots of politicians, local and area organizations and demonstrations at Fall Festival. Bev Pomering, founder and director of the Live R.E.A.L. Foundation, dedicated to advocating awareness of drug abuse and mental health, passed out educational brochures.
