Hononegah opens the home football schedule against Guilford on Saturday

This week’s NIC 10 game between Guilford and Hononegah will be a physical, hard-hitting contest, as they all seem to be in the NIC 10 conference.

The Vikings come into the game with an excellent running attack led by Javon Jones and a veteran offensive line. Hononegah has been very stout against the run game so far in 2022.

Hononegah comes off a huge rivalry win against Harlem last Friday 38-28. In that contest, the Indians showed much grit, as they needed to bounce back numerous times when it looked like they had a chance to put away Harlem. Every time in the 4th quarter, Hononegah was able to answer a Harlem score with a score of their own.
