Roscoe Lions Fall Festival 2022 - Sun Sep 11 7:00 am

Leland Park

The 52nd Annual Roscoe Lions Fall Festival runs September 9-11, 2022. It is one of the longest running events of its kind in the Stateline area. In 1910, the Roscoe Improvement Association held the first Fall Festival in Roscoe. The Roscoe Lions Club has organized the annual event for the past 52 years. [more details]

Leland Park

The first day of the 112th Roscoe Fall Festival features carnival rides, food, bingo, beer, and music by Kevin & Greg. Collection boxes will be available for your used eyeglasses to benefit those who have none. There will be no fireworks this year. Besides rides, food, and music, check out the local vendors and organizations in the Exhibitor Tent (get your old-timey photo taken at the Roscoe Township Historical Society table.) [more details]

Drive 815: Minions - The Rise Of Gru - Fri Sep 9 6:30 pm

Rockton Athletic Fields

Admission: as low as $20 per movie with an early bird pass: Minions - The Rise Of Gru on Friday and The Incredibles 2 on Saturday. The show starts at sunset (about 8:30 p.m.) but bounce houses, glitter tattoos, games, music, balloon-tying, and concessions open at 6:30 p.m. With pizza, ice cream, theater popcorn, drinks, candy, and chips at actually reasonable prices. Lensing Classic Car Show - Sat Sep 10 8:00 am

Historic Auto Attractions

8:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. A daytime cruise night with cars, antique tractors, 50/50 raffle, special 9/11 tribute, food trucks, and live music by 3D Sound. Hosted on the grounds of Historic Auto Attractions and Performance Parts Supply. This is a car show for the cure. All money raised will be donated to Pink Heels. [more details]

Saturday features the Kiddie Costume Parade, Kids’ Day on The Midway (for $25, kids can buy a wristband good for four hours on all rides), karaoke by Johnny West & Friends (benefits Vets Roll), and music by The 80’s Hit List. [more details]

Admission: as low as $20 per drive-in movie with an early bird pass, $40 for both movies. The Incredibles family takes on a new mission which involves a change in superhero roles: Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world.
