Three vehicles, two injuries in Rockton

Three vehicles were involved in a collision around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16 in Rockton at North Main/Rt 2 and W. Rockton Road. Firefighters and paramedics from Rockton Fire Protection District were called to the scene. Two people were injured, but their injuries were non-life threatening.  



Firefighters extricated one driver from their red Ford pickup while it was still propped up on its side. A Kia Telluride SUV was smashed in front, but remained on its wheels. Rockton's ambulance transported one driver to the hospital, while Harlem-Roscoe Fire transported the other patient. While Rockton Police investigated to the cause of the collision, the intersection remained closed.
