Terry Malone was a lifelong truck driver

Terry Francis Malone, 63, of Roscoe, drove trucks for ISP, Unisource, Central Transport and R&L Carriers. He was an avid golfer and always a fan of Chicago and Wisconsin sports. His sense of humor  was unmatched and his laugh could be heard across the room.

Terry passed away Thursday, July 28th in his home, after a brief battle with cancer. 

Born March 18, 1959 in Rockford, IL, Terry was the son of Daniel "Webb" Malone and Abby "Jane" Malone. He graduated from Boylan High School in 1977, then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After that, Terry was a truck driver for his entire career.



Survivors include his two daughters, Eden Marie (Eddie) Malone and Arielle Francis Malone, his former spouse Patty Wheeler, and his dog Leo, as well as siblings Molly Jane Malone, Patrick Webb (Kathy) Malone and Timothy Thomas (Glorie) Malone; sister-in-law Rhonda Malone; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Daniel Ward Malone, and brother-in-law Jon Soucek.

Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Tony Gasparini Funeral Chapel, 6825 Weaver Road. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service. Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Terry with a memorial established by his family.
