You asked, so we brought it- Fungus Function returns! Many of us love fungi for the food and medicine they share with us, but did you know that they also have a lot of community building wisdom to share? Farmer Allyson will explain some basics of how fungi foster communication, facilitate resource sharing, and promote resiliency in their ecosystems and guide a conversation about how those lessons can guide us as humans. The evening will also include a mushroom-inspired potluck, communal discussion, and optional art project. Mushroom lovers of all kinds are welcome, and the program is best suited for ages 10 and up. Space is limited, so please register in advance. Potluck: Bringing a dish to share is optional. We encourage dishes that include mushrooms, are shaped like fungi, or are inspired by the concept of cycling the old into something new. Tickets can be purchased at https://natureattheconfluence.com/event/fungus-function-2/ for $10/Person
