Marlin Zweep (1951-2021) was a machinist, leatherworker, and animal lover.

Marlin E. Zweep, 69, of Rockton passed away October 13, 2021. He was born November 20, 1951 in Rockford, the son of Eugene and Nora (Bomgarden) Zweep. A veteran of the US Air Force,  Marlin was a skilled machinist and CNC programmer. In his spare time, he enjoyed leatherwork, computer programming and an occasional outing to a casino. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed watching movies. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include daughter, Shannon Zweep and granddaughter, Trista and their family; former spouse and long-time friend, Nina Zweep; brothers, Duane Zweep and his family, Gerald Zweep and his family; and sister, Marsha McGuire and her family. 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe.
