Yeti Fest 2024 has begun

Yeti Fest events have already started in Rockton, IL and will run until Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024. Galentine's Day is Feb. 13.

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, adults ages 21 and older had a chance to play Lovers Bingo for free at Rockton Inn Pub and Grub. Tables of eight or more are asked to RSVP by calling 815-624-0700. 

Happening this week: a combination bingo-scavenger hunt, dog sled demos by powered the team from Doggie Development Academy's High Flying Huskies Sled dog team and a sled with wheels, Dance with the Yeti, a kids paint party, a hot cocoa crawl, the pub crawl, being greeted by the Yeti and in business specials. More information on different portions of Yeti Fest can be found on Facebook.

Two readings of the book, "Meet the Hot Dogs" with the book's author and illustrator April Graves are set for Saturday Feb. 10 at 10 a.m., or at 2 p.m. at Inkwell Books & Threads. Meet the book's real-life main character, Pip, and have a photo taken. Get a copy of this new and already loved children's book, signed by Graves.

Jill Rae Finally Art is giving away four tickets to this year's Snow Ball. Just stop in to answer a trivia question based on the 90's theme.

Prior to the Yeti Fest Snow Ball on Saturday evening, start off by celebrating at After the Vine with a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Enjoy live music by Chris Lewis and half price glasses of wine.
