Vicki Ciarpaglini: faith and family always came first

Vicki T. Ciarpaglini, 78, of Rockton was born on January 17, 1944 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Charles) Boschi. Vicki was a graduate of South Beloit High School. She married Robert Ciarpaglini in 1965, in St. Peter Catholic Church, South Beloit, IL.

Vicki passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 9, 2023

Vicki was formerly employed by Taylor Freeze and Walmart. She enjoyed watching birds and deer, and spending time up north. Vicki’s family always came first, along with her faith. She was known for putting everyone and everything before herself. Vicki enjoyed her Door County trips with her lifelong friends and her monthly get-togethers with her Taylor family. She was a proud grandmother - her grandchildren meant the world to her. Vicki will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Ciarpaglini, children, Laurie (Mark) Monroe and Tim (Jenna) Ciarpaglini, granddaughters, Sara, Kendra, and Kassidy, grandsons, CJ, Jake and Sam, great grandchildren, Nala and Bayler, brother, Jay (Mary) Boschi, aunt, Margaret Boschi, special sister-in-law, MaryAnn Luety, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicki was predeceased by her parents, son Robert “Bobby” Ciarpaglini, sister Theresa Boschi Moffitt, and nephew Andrew Boschi.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in St. Peter Catholic Church, 620 Blackhawk Blvd., South Beloit, IL, with burial in at Floral Lawn Cemetery, 835 Dearborn Ave. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation will also be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
