Ginny Adams would go out of her way to ask your name

Virginia M. Adams, 88, of Rockton, was born March 29, 1934, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of John and Emelia Rinaldi. Virginia enjoyed crafts, crocheting, baking, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. She treasured spending time with her friends and family. She was dearly loved by all those who knew her. She went out of her way to ask your name and made fast friends both here in Rockford and in Sun City in Georgetown, TX where she lived with her son Darrell for several years.

Ginny passed away October 17, 2022. 

Survivors include her son Michael Adams (Kathleen), grandchildren Brett Adams (Alyssia Snow); Jennifer Aulet (Jericho); and great-granddaughters; sisters-in-law, Francis Rinaldi, Nancy Rinaldi; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; son Darrell Adams; brothers, Victor and Anthony; sisters, Theresa, Josephine, Mary, Victoria, and Nancy.



Her family says, "We are so grateful for all the loving and expert care she received from Megan Thibodeau, Saint Anne Place, and OSF Hospice. Thank you to each and every one of you. You are all truly angels on earth. Tom DiPasquale, thank you for all of your love, support, and guidance this past year. You were with us every step of the way. You were like another son to her and she loved you dearly. God bless you all!"

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, with Pastor Dean Parker officiating. Visitation will be before the service, from 10 to 11 a.m.
