One of the Village of Rockton's newer now-yearly traditions for the whole family, you can dress up the kids (and yourselves!) for a fun, family-friendly trick or treating event in downtown Rockton at participating businesses. This is always a HUGE hit with families and local shops alike. Generously sponsored by Members Alliance Credit Union. During this event, you can view the entries of the inaugural Pumpkin Carving Contest at Settlers Park, sponsored by the Village of Rockton and the American Legion. 

1. Make sure you start at the private drive at Village Hall to pick up your trick or treat bags from MembersAlliance Credit Union, our sponsor who helped make this event happen!

2. There are over 22+ locations along Main St. from Village Hall down to the American Legion as well as quite a few stops along Hawick St., from Rockton Sanctuary Spa west along Hawick to Erica's Board Creations. Check out over 50+ pumpkin entries into our first pumpkin carving contest at Settlers Park while you're down there, and don't forget the Mobil station and Frosted Farmhouse on Blackhawk Blvd. too!

4. When crossing Blackhawk, please use the lighted intersection at Main and Blackhawk or the crosswalk at Settlers Park. The Rockton Police will be on hand to help make sure attendees are able to cross busy streets safely. Thank you in advance for crossing at the safe, appropriate places!

5. A few fun things of note - Positive Changes Chiropractic-Dr. Andrena Sayles will be hosting Pickles the Clown & Company. Rockton Inn Pub & Grub is having a family Halloween party. Sugar Britches will have extra caramel apples for sale as well as Man Bundt Bakery selling limited edition fall baked goods. The American Legion will have hot dogs and chips available for the hungry trick or treaters while they're standing in line. SO MUCH FUN STUFF EVERYWHERE!
