The historic buildings of Macktown will be open.
Join us for an educational program on the predecessor of archery: the atlatl (spear-thrower).
Come learn how the early natives of this area used their environment and the natural resources for their day-to-day needs of food, clothing and shelter.
See and handle the tools they used and learn how they were made.
Chop wood with a stone ax! Try your hand at bringing down dinner with a spear and atlatl!
Kids can help grind corn and take some home to make into corn cakes!
