Former Hononegah Indian star racking up the awards early this season
An Indians former star hoopster continues to help lead Marquette's Golden Eagles to early season success.
Former Hononegah star girls basketball player Jordan King has been racking up the awards lately at Marquette University.
Jordan was named to the Weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll for the last week earlier today. During the last week, the senior guard helped the Golden Eagles make it to the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game after helping Marquette to an upset of #3 Texas while scoring her career high of 25 points. Then she followed the 25 points against Texas with a 13 point 9 rebound 4 assist performance against Gonzaga.

This is the fifth weekly Honor Roll appearance of King’s career, and first of this season.
Rockford Register-Star sports reporter Matt Trowbridge listed Jordan as one of the area's ten greatest girls basketball players of the past 75 years. She is from Rockton.
Jordan King was named to the Battle 4 Atlantis All-Tournament Team after going for 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists during the tournament.
Next up for the Golden Eagles is a road contest against Georgetown on December 2 at 10 a.m.
