FIRST AID & CPR TRAINING returns: HARLEM-ROSCOE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT continues monthly community classes

The Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District is once again opening its doors to residents eager to learn lifesaving skills. The department’s monthly First Aid & CPR Training sessions—held on the fourth Saturday of every month continue to draw interest from families, workplace teams, and community volunteers who want to be prepared when emergencies strike.

Hosted at HRFD Station #3, 13974 Willowbrook Road, the training begins at 8 a.m. and is led by certified instructors who walk participants through hands-on CPR, AED use, and essential first aid techniques. The program is intentionally designed to be accessible and affordable, with tiered pricing:

• $25 — CPR/AED
• $25 — First Aid Only
• $50 — Combined CPR/AED + First Aid

For a community that prides itself on stepping up for one another, these classes offer a practical way to build confidence and readiness. Fire officials say the monthly format ensures residents have frequent opportunities to participate, whether they’re renewing certification or learning for the first time.
