Family-style restaurant opening soon in Roscoe
The grand opening is Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 9:30 am.

Esmerelda and Ivan Torres are eager to open Sebastian’s Café, a breakfast-lunch restaurant in Main Street Square Shopping Center, 5312 Williams Drive in Roscoe, The location is the former home of Crazy Llama Brewery.
Village of Roscoe representatives will kick-start the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 9:30 am.
Ivan and Esmerelda and their son live in South Beloit. Ivan spent many years as a cook, more recently, at Neli’s Restaurant in South Beloit. His wife, Esmerelda was a waitress at the family-style restaurant. The café is named after their six year old son, Sebastian.
“After several years working at local restaurants, we wanted to move on.” Esmerelda said. “ It was time to do something on our own.”
They found the Main Street Square location, changed the décor, did some renovation and moved in.
The café menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Doors open for breakfast at 6:00 am. Closing time is 3:00 pm every day. The extensive breakfast menu features skillets, steak and eggs, pancakes, wraps, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, bagels and croissants.
Home-made soups are on the menu for lunch as well as a variety of sandwiches and daily specials.
The public is invited to attend the grand opening and welcome Sebastian’s Café to Roscoe.
