Roscoe Middle School will welcome its newest Braves on Wednesday, Aug. 12, for the school’s 6th Grade Back‑to‑School Night, running from 4:30–6:30 p.m. The event is designed to help incoming students get comfortable with the building, meet teachers and prepare for the first day of school.
To manage crowds, families are asked to arrive during staggered sessions based on the first letter of their child’s last name. Students with last names A–L will attend from 4:30–5:15 p.m., followed by a brief transition break. Those with last names M–Z will attend from 5:30–6:30 p.m.
During the evening, students will receive class schedules and locker assignments, practice opening lockers, explore classrooms and meet homeroom teachers. Families are encouraged to bring school supplies so students can organize their lockers early.
Homeroom assignments were emailed to families on Monday, Aug. 10, ahead of the event.
