Rockton Memorial Day Parade

The Rockton Memorial Day parade begins at 9 a.m. on Blackhawk Blvd. on the south side of the bridge over the Rock River, laying a wreath into the water to honor fallen Navy members, and circles back through Downtown Rockton west to Center St. then up to Union St. to the Rockton Township cemetery, with a short ceremony and reading of names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice throughout all wars.

The Rockton Memorial Day parade begins lining up on E. River Street after 8 a.m.  The parade steps off at 9 a.m. and proceeds northbound on Blackhawk Blvd, west on W. Main St., noth on Center St., west on W. Union  St, and north West St. to the Rockton Cemetery.  Expect delays or avoid Blackhawk Blvd (IL Rte. 75) - River St.- Downtown Rockton.

The event is organized by Rockton American Legion Post #332.
