Pistol Pete is one of the best guitar players in the Rockford area, well-known for his tributes to Jimi Hendrix. Pistol Pete is equally talented in all genres of music, rock, funk, jazz and blues. He has played with many legends in the music industry including Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Miles, Billy Cox, and Eric Gales. Pistol Pete won guitar competitions including the Jimi Hendrix Foundation Electric Guitar Competition and the Chicago Blues Challenge.
