Emily “Moe” Morgan earns Fine Arts Scholarship, Rising from loss to Leadership

Congratulations to Emily “Moe” Morgan, the recipient of the Fine Arts Scholarship for High School Seniors! Emily is a recent graduate of South Beloit High School who will focus on architecture as her fine arts major. According to her nominators, Emily has an extremely positive spirit and strong ability to connect with others, showing empathy and turning stressful moments into manageable ones. After her mother died during her high school years, Emily has grown into a confident self-advocate, a skill that will serve her well in college. Besides being an accomplished visual artist, she is also a musician who has “overcome performance anxiety…into playing an incredible and difficult solo in a concert. ”Womanspace is proud to support Emily “Moe” Morgan, and we look forward to seeing her as a rising star in architecture!
