Elev815 and Cross and Crown Lutheran Church welcome guests to an open house

Cross and Crown Lutheran Church has recently become a member of Elev815, a local organization that supports small businesses in the Stateline area.

Cross and Crown Lutheran Church and Elev815 hosted an open house at the church location, 7404 Elevator Road in Roscoe, on Thursday evening, September 18. 2025. Members of Elev815 and guests were given a tour of the Cross and Crown Church and preschool. Hors d'oeuvres, wine, and soft drinks were available.

Cross and Crown is a new member of Elev815, a local organization that supports education initiatives and small businesses in the Stateline area. Elev815 provides opportunities for members to interact and get to know other small business owners in the area. They sponsor events to raise scholarship funds for Hononegah Community High School graduating seniors and Roscoe Middle School student music camps.

Guests listened to the music of Kyler and Cassie Hartje, otherwise known as Fred & Ginger, a talented duo who love to entertain. The couple sing and play an eclectic mix of cover songs from the 1960s and beyond. Kyler also produces Fred and Friends, a children's program featuring puppets. Both are employed at Cross and Crown. Kyler is the contemporary music leader. Cassie is the church choir director.

Kyler and Cassie Hartje, also known as the Fred and Ginger Duo, entertained guests at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 7404 Elevator Road in Roscoe. The open house was sponsored by Elev815 and by Cross and Crown. Fred and Ginger often entertain at schools, libraries, and birthday parties.
