Duane Roy Hermanson of Roscoe, age 90, passed away on December 20, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.
Duane was born on July 5, 1935, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
He dedicated many years of his working life to Chrysler, where he was employed until his retirement in May of 1996. He also proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force, working as an airplane mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sister; and his son, Jim Kupietz.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Hermanson; his son, David (Lisa) Hermanson; his daughters, Nancy Carey and DeAnn (Todd) Knight; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Duane will be remembered for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and his service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
