Driver extricated after Rockton Road collision
Two were taken in ambulances with serious injuries
Three people were involved in a two-vehicle collision, two seriously injured, at W. Rockton Road and Eunice Drive shortly before 7:30 a.m. Friday morning, Dec. 9, 2022. According to Rockton Fire Protection District, one driver had to be extricated. South Beloit and Harlem-Roscoe Fire Departments helped provide ambulances to take the two to a local hospital. According to Rockton Fire, "Road conditions at the time of the accident were poor." The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident and are investigating it. The location was between Nygren Wetlands and Racoon Creek.
