Despite the heat, shoppers came out to take in a new Roscoe event

Shoppers visited the kiosks and booths across and behind Velvet Robot Coffee Lab during the Roscoe Makers Mercantile event on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Vendors offered baked goods, handmade jewelry, clothing, and more. Food trucks selling ice cream and lunch items were also available.

Kate Thompson, owner of Linkt Permanent Jewelry at 5454 Bridge Street, organized the event. Thompson hopes to bring Makers Mercantile back again in the fall or winter.

Nolan Walker, Adam Cox, and John Gibbons own Rockford Hats, a custom hat business
