Sept. 26, 2024:
Virginia Westbrook, 98, Rockton
She was a member of Shirland United Methodist Church and Woman's Club of Rockton. During her eight years at Medina Nursing Center, she even grew to like bingo.
Sept. 27, 2024:
Diane Terviel, 76, Shirland
She grew up on a dairy farm north of Shirland and attended Hononegah High School. She worked as a nurse and farmed with her husband near Chana, IL.
Sept. 30, 2024:
"Buzzy" Goodrich, 73, Roscoe
One of five siblings, he enlisted in the United States Army in 1970 and became a lifetime member of the VFW. He loved to watch Monty Python and Mel Brooks movies.
Patricia Aiello, 87, Roscoe
After a 38-year career with X-rays, she worked as a realtor for 15 years. She was also a multi-talented artist in several media.
