Police arrest Roscoe man for attacking two neighbors in Chicory Ridge

Saturday night, Roscoe Police officers, called to a single-family home in the 500 block of Santolina Drive for "an unknown domestic issue" at 9:05 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2022, found a 43 year old Roscoe man had unlawfully entered his neighbor's residence and attacked two occupants of the home.

The location was in Chicory Ridge one block north of Roscoe Road, between Meadowsweet and Chicory Ridge Drive. The motive cannot be determined, since it was not announced by the police and the suspect is not active on Nextdoor.

Police found the suspect was still in the house and arrested him. He was charged with Home Invasion (a Class X Felony), Aggravated Battery (a Class 3 Felony), and regular Battery (a Class A Misdemeanor).

The suspect, a 6' 1'' 215 pound bearded white man, was booked into Winnebago County Jail at almost 1 a.m. Jail records indicate that he only needs to pay $2,000 bail to be released on a "pending felony," but his friends or family don't seem to have paid it.  They can still send "gifts and essentials" to the jail for him through the iCare service. His court date is set for Dec. 13.
