Nov. 18, 2024:
Elizabeth Crosby, 80, South Beloit
A 1962 graduate of South Beloit High School, she worked several years at the Stateline Pregnancy Center, YMCA, Riverview School, and Meals On Wheels.
Michael Patrick, 67, South Beloit
A Navy veteran and a 1975 South Beloit High School graduate, he proudly owned BUWW Upholstery for 26 years. He was specifically a Brett Favre fan.
Nov. 17, 2024:
Leona McGirk, 89, South Beloit
Originally from Iowa, she met her husband at the Dubuque Telegraph Herald. She enjoyed her wildflower garden and her family reunions every summer.
Nov. 16, 2024:
Robert Booth, 88, South Beloit
He loved his family, the Packers, Westerns, country music, and his Corvette.
Budde Rufer, 87, South Beloit
He enjoyed dancing, home improvement projects, and using AutoCAD to design homes. He worked at Barber Colman.
Nov. 15, 2024:
Robert Miller, 85, South Beloit
Born at home in Beloit, he spent over 60 years with his wife Diane. He was a member of Local 364 IBEW Electrical Workers Union.
Nov. 14, 2024:
Delores Koenig, 91, Rockton
Delores enjoyed working at Interpace Lockjoint Pipe Company so much that she didn’t retire until she was 83.
Nov. 13, 2024:
Chester Knutson, 86, South Beloit
For over 50 years, he was a Master Mason at the Roscoe Masonic Lodge No. 75.
Nov. 11, 2024:
Lizzie Carter, 89, South Beloit
Born in Ripley, MS, she migrated North in 1955. Lizzie worked at the Hilton Hotel and The Wagon Wheel before Admiral Electronics and Chrysler Corporation. She loved to cook and feed everyone.
Nov. 10, 2024:
Terence Reneau, 85, South Beloit
He lived on South Park Avenue, but spent two years caring for a sick uncle out of town, returning in 2006.
Nov. 9, 2024:
Linda McDonald, 80, South Beloit
A natural conversationalist, Linda could strike up a meaningful conversation with anyone.
Nov. 6, 2024:
Marion Sanders, 91, Roscoe
She was co-owner of jewelry and flower shop B. Sanfield, but her greatest joy came from creating family memories.
Treston Ward, 29, Rockton
A wildly gifted artist, devoted husband, loving father and kind friend who lost his lengthy battle with addiction.
