Mar. 9, 2025:
Valerie Gunderson, 75, Roscoe
On a typical day, she could be found watching the news while scrolling through family photos.

Mar. 13, 2025:
Richard Marzano, 75, Rockton
A schoolteacher turned entrepreneur, his businesses, which included a restaurant and an office supply company, were always secondary to his family and church. Hosting an annual summer bash for everybody prompted him to add ever-expanding features to his property in Rockton on the river.

Mar. 14, 2025:
Delores Burkholder, 78, Rockton
From Saint Paul, Minnesota, she was a dog show judge for the American Kennel Club. She was involved with pure bred dogs for over 50 years as a breeder and professional handler.

Julie Black, 63, South Beloit
She had a deep passion for animals and was a generous supporter of various charities.

Mar. 16, 2025:
Randy Powell, 48, South Beloit
An avid gamer, Randy enjoyed playing Dungeons & Dragons on X-Box with friends, many of which he gamed with for over 30 years. He loved all things comics; collecting, trading and drawing his own, as well as painting miniature comic figures and collectibles.

Mar. 17, 2025:
Erlinda Wilson, 82, Roscoe
Born in the Philippines, she became a US citizen in 1974. Known as a jokester to her family, she took great care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, even if she called them by a different name every time.

Mar. 19, 2025:
Carol Nichols, 82, Rockton
A 1961 Hononegah graduate, she was mischievous, funny, and opinionated. She would often attend quilting retreats. She and her husband eventually retired to Bandera, Texas.
