Feb. 23, 2025:
Stanford Dean Sr., 70, Rockton
Born in Virginia, he drove truck for many years. He loved the great outdoors: long rides on his Harley most of all.
Feb. 28, 2025:
Robert Sandell, 92, Rockton
After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he became a farmer then had his own independent insurance agency.
Tom Sweeney, 70, Rockton
A member of Life Church, he retired from Woodward after over 27 years as a test technician calibrating fuel controls for large gas turban aircraft.
Mar. 2, 2025:
Jeffrey Schumacher, 55, Beloit
A 1987 graduate of Hononegah High School, he loved to cook, especially steak, especially the marinade.
Mar. 3, 2025:
Donna Sullivan, 78, South Beloit
She helped run a woodworking business and worked in the newspaper industry in California and Illinois. She was an active member of the Darien Baptist Church, where she married the pastor.
Mar. 5, 2025:
Michael Parrott, 64, Rockton
Before working almost 21 years at Gallagher, where he became area vice president, he was principal and superintendent of schools in Pecatonica.
Mar. 6, 2025:
Pack H. C. Johnson, 82, Rockton
Born in 1942 to Korean parents in Japan, she worked at Barber Colman for more than 30 years. She loved gardening and cooking for her parties. She was known as the egg roll master.
